Forbes did a survey that looked into the best cities for young professionals to live in. Austin ranked 11 of 25 of the top cities.

With the amazing night life in the downtown area, Austin has become so popular with the younger crowd. The music and arts scene has also become quite popular with the locals of Austin. This sort of scene has also become well known because of all the different types of cultures that have become meshed together in this small city area.

There are many suburbs surrounding the Austin area which leaves a lot of room for people to commute into the city from the suburbs. Many companies have been working to build bigger buildings and expanding their area in Austin. More and more companies are working to bring all of the business and the money into the Austin area. It seems more and more that the businesses are building up instead of out. You are seeing many more high rises in the downtown area because of bigger companies coming into the Austin picture.
